Music

The focus of this series in my artistic endeavor, is all about bringing the world of contemporary chamber music to life through drawings. It has been suggested that I have a neurologic condition called synesthesia, which means I experience certain sounds as visual sensations. It is as if my ears and eyes are having a conversation, and each note or rhythm I hear translates into spontaneous, intuitive marks on my paper.

I love working on a large scale, capturing the music’s essence with graphite, charcoal, and black ink, responding to my sense of touch. Most of my pieces are in black and white, but occasionally, I’ll add a hint of color to highlight certain musical elements and give the composition extra depth.

My drawings are abstract, filled with random marks and fluid forms that reflect the emotional and sensory experiences the music evokes in me. It’s a bit like seeing sound on paper, where everything comes together to create a harmonious whole.

What I hope for is that my art becomes a bridge between the sensory and intellectual worlds. When you look at my work, I want you to feel curious, to dive into the details and get lost in the fluid forms. It’s an immersive experience that I believe can stimulate both your mind and senses
